Katrina Kaif, who has three Yash Raj banner films in her kitty, at the moment is all raring to go with one big release lined up in July, Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara.
In a candid interview with a film magazine, the actress opened up about her past relationships and her newly single status.
The actress, who was recently adjudged as the sexiest women in the world by a magazine, admits that such polls do not help as they don’t fetch her boyfriend.
Speaking of boyfriends, does she feel awkward working with her ex Salman Khan in Yash Raj’s next film Ek Tha Tiger? “We have been very good friends in the past. He will always support me in whatever capacity he can. If I need him, he’ll always be there for me. He’ll always be a good friend of mine. So I don’t see any reason why there should be discomfort. He’s been a gentleman in the journey that our equation has gone through. We will remain friends”, said Katrina. The actress insists that there is no awkwardness between the two as they are thorough professionals.
And what about Ranbir? Would she be comfortable working with him? “Why wouldn’t I do a movie with him again? If the script is right and we both like it, why not?”
When quizzed about her recent break up with the actor, she carefully chooses her words and says “It’s a tricky space. I’ve never commented on my personal life. He’s been my friend for sure. We’ve been friends for the last two years. That friendship has been….We’ve been in each other’s lives because of these two films, which took a year or two to complete. We continue to be in each others lives. Maybe not now because we’re not doing films together. But if another film comes up, and we’re working on it for months, then we’ll have a friendship, we’ll have an equation.”
Katrina also maintains that she has no hard feelings for Nargis Fakhri (who was allegedly the cause of Ranbir-Katrina break up) or Deepika Padukone (Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend).
