Pakistani singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar may be busy bonding with actors Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif, as he stars alongside them in a new film, but sources say that Zafar is also simultaneously gearing up for a noble cause.
The actor, who shot to fame with his stint in Tere Bin Laden has been crying from rooftops that contrary to some speculation, he does not share any bad blood with Khan and that he gets along just fine with Kaif. But now he is focusing his efforts on teaching music to underprivileged children.
A source close to the star says that Zafar is more than just happy with the support he received as a newbie looking to gain a foothold in the industry and now he wants to do his bit.
“Ali was contemplating quite a few options but finally decided on sharing his knowledge on music with the lesser privileged. He finalised on this simply because music is something that comes most naturally to him and he considers it to be the purest thing he can impart at the moment,” says the source.
Ali is apparently already in talks with a couple of non-profit organisations to help him undertake the cause in an organised manner.
“He is on a tight schedule, thanks to Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and his recently released music album. But he knows that he can always make time for music. He wants to put his talent to a good use and looks like he’s found the right way cause too now,” adds the source.
