It’s Satsang time for Katrina Kaif

It’s finally official: Prakash Jha will go ahead with his Satsang, which he was said to have put on the backburner while filming Aarakshan.

But the filmmaker is now formulating plans to revive Satsang and cast Katrina Kaif in it. He’ll work with Kat for the second time.
“When Jha announced Aarakshan last year, many were surprised that he went with Deepika Padukone instead of Katrina, especially since Kat had just delivered a very good performance in Rajneeti,” says a source who has been tracking the film’s progress. It then appeared that Satsang was a mere announcement, made to quell controversies over his choice of heroine for Aarakshan.
So while Jha got busy with his big budget production, Kat too moved on to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

“He never really forgot Satsang though. It’s definitely happening,” says a source close to Jha’s production house. “Once Aarakshan releases, Jha saab will take a call on it.” Jha himself confirmed the news, but refused to reveal any timeline. “Yes, Satsang is certainly happening with Katrina,” he said.
